So even with this thing turning out much worse than I had hoped for (mostly because of me being retarded when selecting keywords)… well, whaddayaknow?

Had I been less ambitious with keywords, I would probably be getting sales daily by now :)
Peace out peoples.

Yeah man that’s definitely unfortunate…but still, at least you can say you made over $100 for the month. For some people, just making $100/month is pretty good. Imagine having 20 of these sites, and making $2,000/month.
By the way, do you do pretty well with your other sites? So if you do make over $100/day, keep working at it.
Greetings Linus, Noxter here…
Listen man… much love and all, but it’s time to put out. It’s time to put in that over time. It’s time to own this shit. You’re in the highlights/spotlight; on the line are both your future and reputation. With this could come more business?
Don’t lose hope of your goal, it’s still in reach. It doesn’t matter the amount of knowledge you have in marketing/PR… it’s whether or not you can put out. This is your time – do it.
Cheers,
Kevin O.
Thanks for the comments guys. Right now getting to $100 a day in about 6 days will be KIND OF hard, and it’s getting REALLY hard to find time at all… To be honest, I don’t really give a shit about my reputation in IM circles since it’s a VERY small part of my income.
And this first beta thing is not SUPPOSED to get me to $100 a day in 30 days… it’s about working out the rough system to refine it and make it a system that is actually capable of that.
Thanks for the comments, I’mma make it though :)
Hey Linus, I know you’re in school and all that, but I hope you keep this whole thing going until you reach the $100 per day for a sustainable length of time.
To me, the value in this whole project you is in how you get these 5 sites up to $100 per day. Or 1 site, or 2. I don’t care. Just get to $100 a day and sustain that for a month or so. It doesn’t matter what the time frame is – just get it done.
I wish you would post a little more often. Even if you are not making sales, it seems like you must doing something behind the scenes to analyze what is and what isn’t working.
I also don’t think that you “don’t really give a shit about my reputation in IM circles since it’s a VERY small part of my income.” If that was the case, then you wouldn’t have set this site up and be promoting the site in your signature link of the internet marketing forums that you participate in.
You also make a point on your home site that this “Project 100″ is your #1 outgoing link. So, I do think you care quite a bit about your reputation in the IM circle. To say otherwise seems disingenuous and kind of insulting to your readers. No, I think it’s really insulting.
To me, the bottom is can you get these sites to $100 per day in any time frame. I don’t care how long it takes to get it there. What really interests me is how you get them there, what you learned along the way, how you changed things as you went, and on and on. The journey, not the destination – you know? I thought that’s what this site was about.
I think once you show you can accomplish this goal, then it’s just a matter of scaling what has been done to make a boat load more money. That’s the way I look it anyway.
But that’s not all, you can sell your crazy eBook for up to $100, as you have said you would like to do, maybe set up a membership site, and on and on. Showing this stuff as you go is what will you separate you from the thousands of other chumps online that sell junk.
I see your Alexa ranking is down to 202,000, so this site has quite a bit of potential. I just wish you would rethink what you said about not caring about your reputation in the IM. If you don’t care, why should anyone else care to read what you write? You might as well enter your thoughts in a personal journal, if that’s the case.
I have just two lame sites promoting 2 cheesy Clickbank products and my goal is to get those sites to pay me just $50 per day starting tomorrow, or $1500 total by June 1. I got motivation from this site, so I really hope you see this thing through. Once I’m able to do that, then I’ll outsource all the stuff I don’t like. But for now, I’m going to do it all myself. And this crazy site has helped me.
Hell, if you quit doing this, you’ve just given me a great idea for a blog. I’ll put up some site saying “follow my zany journey to a $100 a day just as soon as I can get there!” Then I’ll take the site down once that’s accomplished, put that junk in a eBook (maybe a couple – 1 small cheap eBook that over delivers, and a bigger more expensive eBook as an upsell), build a nice sized list for my own personal stuff, start a membership site, and who knows what next!
Anyway, I wish you the best and look forward to hearing more on this project.
